About our Medicare Online integration
Tyro Health Online enables you to submit both bulk billed and private patient claims directly to Medicare. This is ideal for providers who want to claim with Medicare automatically, without requiring a terminal or a patient's physical Medicare card.
Medicare Online Bulk Bill Claims
With Medicare bulk billing, providers can:
Claim eligible services billed at Medicare Benefits Schedule (MBS) rates.
Receive payments directly from Medicare.
Medicare Online Private Patient Claims
With Medicare private patient claims, providers can:
Charge for eligible services at or above MBS rates.
Have Medicare benefits paid directly to patients or claimants.
Patients must pay for the service before claiming. However, they typically receive their Medicare benefit payment by the next business day and do not need to manually submit a claim to Medicare.

About our DVA integration
Tyro Health Online enables you to submit claims to the Department of Veterans' Affairs (DVA) for straight-through approval and fast payment.
DVA Provider Enablement
The DVA integration is offered through Medicare Online.
When a provider is enabled for Medicare Online claiming, DVA claiming is automatically enabled as well.
Provider Types Requiring Additional DVA Approval
The following provider types require a separate call to DVA before claims can be processed:

Existing Medicare Online Integrations
If you already use Medicare Online through your practice management software to process Medicare and DVA claims, please speak with our team before signing up.
You may not be able to use both Tyro Health Online and your existing Medicare Online claiming system at the same time.
Accepting Payments for Private Patient Claims
Currently, Tyro Health Online Payments is the only payment option available through Tyro Health Online for private patient claims.
If you would like to use Tyro Health Online for patient payments and want to learn more about Tyro Health Online Payments, you can access the relevant information via the linked resource.
ECLIPSE Claiming
Setting up Medicare Online through Tyro Health Online will also enable ECLIPSE claiming for in-hospital and out-of-hospital services.
If ECLIPSE claiming is not relevant to your modality, you can simply ignore this feature after setup.
