White and gold card holders

How to indicate that the patient is a white or gold DVA card holder when raising claims.

Gold card holders can claim for any clinically necessary service and white card holders can only claim for specific conditions. You may have already experienced this if a DVA claim you raised received the decline code โ€œ581 Condition treated has not been statedโ€.

As gold card holders can claim for ANY clinically necessary services, no special indication is needed for the claim to be processed. For white card holders, an accepted disability indicator may be required and the accepted disability description treated will need to be added to the claim.

Here's how to enter the condition treated (for white card holders)

Under the patient details section toggle the "Accepted disability indicator" and enter in the "Accepted disability description":
