Once your business has been set up for icare invoicing, here's how to add any new providers.

This article demonstrates how to add new staff members to a Tyro Health Online business that has already been set up for icare invoicing.

If you have not yet registered your business for icare invoicing in Tyro Health Online, follow these steps first.

Add a staff member

To add a new provider, navigate to the “Get Paid” tab and click “Settings” in the "icare" tile.

You can then click "Add Provider".

Complete the following details below.

Please note:

  • For allied health practitioners, you will need to enter your SIRA number as well as your Medicare provider number

  • General practitioners (GPs) only need to enter their Medicare provider number.

  • For practitioners with no Medicare provider number, click on the toggle reading "Provider doesn't have Medicare provider number".

Once the details have been entered, click "Confirm and Continue".

The new staff members provider number will now display as "Pending" - it takes up to 5 business days for provider numbers to be approved.
