A Tyro Health Online account is required to use the Tyro Health Pro Key.
If you do not have a Tyro Health Online account, please click here to sign up.
Once signed in, you will need to follow these steps to sign in to the Pro Key:
Visit tyrohealth.com/eftpos-activate on your desktop or mobile device.
Log in with a Tyro Health Online business administrator account (if you are unsure sure who has a business administrator account, please ask your practice manager for assistance)
Click the Generate code button to generate your 6-digit code.
If you don’t see the Generate code button, select Business settings from the left-hand menu, and then select the Connections tab.
A code will be created and is valid for 15 minutes. Enter this 6-digit code on your Tyro Health Pro Key verification screen and click Verify.
If you have multiple locations in Tyro Health Online, choose the location you will be taking EFTPOS transactions/claims from. If you only have one location, it will be selected by default (the location can be changed from the home screen menu if required). Note: If you don’t see your location in the list, a business administrator can add the location in Tyro Health Online adding this location to your Tyro Health Online business.
If successful, you will see Sign in complete on your device. Select Continue to see the home screen of the Pro Key.
If you are all set up for Private Health Insurance claiming at the selected location, you should see the option to swipe a health care card/enter the details manually to start a Private Health Insurance claim OR you can process a standalone payment.
If you are not set up for Private Health Insurance claiming, you will be able to process a standalone payment.
