Before you start

What you will need:

  • Tyro Health Pro Key.

  • A Wi-Fi network (SSID) and password, if connecting via Wi-Fi.

  • Optional: and Ethernet base with its power adaptor, cable, and an Ethernet cable, if connection via Ethernet.

Step-by-step Guide

Connect via Wi-Fi

  1. Turn on the Pro Key (press the side Power button).

  2. Tap Get Started. When asked about an Ethernet base:

    • If you have an base, go to Connect via Ethernet below.

    • If you don't have a base, select No, I don't have a base to continue with Wi-Fi.

  3. When the Wi-Fi list appears, select your network.

  4. If prompted, enter the Wi-Fi password and tap Connect.

  5. After you see the success message, tap Next to download required software/apps.

    • To change networks, tap Change Wi-Fi Network.

    • If you see No Wi-Fi networks found, tap Search again or Skip Wi-Fi to use mobile.

    • To use mobile, select Connect to mobile Network and wait for the confirmation, then tap Next to continue to activation.

Wi-Fi tips

  • The device auto-scans every ~30 seconds for new networks.

  • To join a hidden network, choose Add network and enter details. (If you don't see this during setup, you can add it later in Settings).

Connect via Ethernet

  1. Turn on the Pro Key (press the side power button).
When asked, select Connect Ethernet base.

  2. Plug in the Ethernet base using its power adaptor and cable.

  3. Connect an Ethernet cable to the Ethernet base and an active Ethernet port.

  4. Place the Pro Key on the base to charge and use Ethernet. (You'll see the battery icon charging.)

  5. The device will scan for Ethernet networks - select the correct one and it will connect.

Ethernet tips

  • If the network doesn't appear immediate, the device auto-scans every ~30 seconds.

  • Your Ethernet network name (SSID) is typically on a sticker on the back of the Ethernet base.
