Processing a refund in standalone mode

  1. Select the 'hamburger' icon on the top left of the home screen.

  2. Select ‘Transactions & refunds’.

  3. Select the payment you would like to refund.

  4. Scroll down to the bottom of the page and select the ‘Refund payment’ or ‘Refund gap’ button.

    Note: If there is no refund button, it means that the amount has already been refunded, or the original payment was not successful.

  5. If a partial refund is needed, reduce the refund amount.

  6. Select Continue.

  7. Enter the Operator password, or Admin password if the refund is over $200.

  8. The cardholder presents their card for the refund.

  9. If successful, you will see an ‘Approved’ message on your Pro Key, and depending on your chosen receipt settings, will print a receipt, or ask you if you want to print a receipt.
