Tyro Health Online Payments enables a quick and easy way for you to start taking credit/debit card payments.
If you have already paired your Tyro EFTOS machine the 'card payment' tile will be shown as active but Tyro Health Online Payments won't yet be enabled until the below setup has been completed.

Credit card details to process payments for paid Tyro Health features.
Bank account details for settlement.
Business location information.
ID Documentation for Identity Verification.
Step-by-step setup
Step 1: Log in and navigate to Tyro Health Online Payments tile
No EFTPOS machine paired:

Step 2: Confirm your business and location details
Check that the business details are correct for each location and update if needed. | |
Step 3: Add your payment card details
Note: Your card will be billed at the end of each month based on the number of paid feature transactions you process. | |
Step 4: Enter your settlement bank account details

Step 5: Business Verification
Note: If not already completed, you will need to complete your verification of identity. |
What Happens Next?
Most payment registrations automatically approve.
In some circumstances, where you might have a more complex business structure (such as a trust), we will need to contact you directly to complete identity verification. You will be advised by a member of Tyro Health Support team on the requirements for completing the business verification.
Processing payments for providers
Tyro Health Online Payments is enabled at the business level, so any locations and staff members in Tyro Health Online are automatically set up for card payments.
Before processing an out of pocket or gap expense for a provider (i.e., the payment is for them specifically), the provider has to be onboarded as a staff member and for the specific funder/scheme claiming option.
