More information on verifying your business, including why its required

Many Tyro Health Online features require you to verify the identity of individuals associated with your business before you can submit claims and payments.

The process to "know your customer" and verify a business is a requirement Tyro Health must adhere to and is expected from a combination of: card schemes, Government, and specific insurers we integrate with - verification strengthens the integrity of our solution.

How can I complete my ID check?

Identity verification is typically a short process that can be completed online. We will prompt you when identity verification is required.

Alternatively, you can proactively complete an identity verification by logging into Tyro Health Online, clicking the "Business settings" tab and then the "Verify business" button.

In some circumstances, where you might have a more complex business structure (such as a trust), we will need to contact you directly to complete identity verification. You will be advised by a member of Tyro Health Support team on the requirements for completing the business verification.

What information do I need to have available to complete the ID check?

To verify each person, you will need to have access to at least two of the following documents:

If I complete this over the phone, how will I know it’s really Tyro Health calling?

Is my information safe?

Yes, the details that you disclose are not stored on any database. Therefore, we won’t be able to recall the information. We directly input your information into Equifax, who are the Credit Reporting Body (CRB) that Tyro Health Online will use to validate your identity.

What is a Credit Reporting body (CRB)?

An agency that collects, stores, uses and discloses personal and credit related information about individuals. The CRB collects this information from credit providers and publicly available sources. For Tyro Health Online's purposes, we are using the information stored by the CRB to verify someone's identity.

What is Tyro Health Online's Privacy policy?

We will handle your personal information in accordance with our Privacy Policy which you can view at any time here. You should review this and ensure you are comfortable with it.
