Accessibility Mode for Visually Impaired

Accessibility mode for the visually impaired enhances patient-facing screens with larger text and buttons, and text-to-speech to make on-screen information easier to read and understand.

How to enable:

  1. After submitting the claim or payment, on the Claim outcome screen, or the payment screen, select the yellow accessibility icon on the top right of the screen.

  2. Accessibility mode will be activated on the Payment, the Claim Outcome, Terms and Conditions popup, and signature screens.

  3. To use text-to-speech, plug the patients headphones into the audio jack adaptor (supplied), which connects to the USB Type-C port on the EFTPOS machine.

  4. The text-to-speech playback can be controlled using gestures.
