What you will need:
Aged Care Provider and business details.
ID Documentation for Identity Verification.
Credit card details to process payments (find out more).
The bank account details you would like participant contribution payments settled to (for Tyro Health Online Payments transactions).
Step-by-step Setup
Step 1: Create a Tyro Health Account
Go to the Tyro Health Online sign-up page and create your free Tyro Health account – you can add more users later in Settings..
Step 2:Enter information about your business
To set-up your Tyro Health Online account for Aged Care and Support at Home, we ask you for more information, including your ABN, professional category, and practice management software.
Please ensure you select 'Aged & Community Care Provider' from the primary health category drop-down.
Step 3: PRODA B2B device registration
Obtain your registration details from PRODA
Refer to Services Australia on how to obtain this information.
Select Providers from the sidebar in THO.
Copy and paste the details generated in PRODA into the corresponding fields. This includes:
Device Activation Code
Device Name
PRODA RA
Registered Provider ID
Select Confirm & Continue and follow any additional prompts.
Step 4: Register for Aged Care web services
Before you can use THO to transact with Services Australia, our software details must be registered or updated for your provider. This process requires completing and submitting a form to Services Australia:
Download and complete the AC027 form
Download the AC027 form from the Services Australia website.Include Tyro Health’s software details when completing the form
Complete the form and submit to Services Australia, using the instructions provided on the form.
When completing the form, ensure you include the following software details:Software Developer name: Tyro Health Pty Ltd
Software name: Aged Care v1.0
Software integration version: 1.0
Wait for confirmation from Services Australia
Once Services Australia has processed your AC027 form, you’ll receive an email notification from them confirming registration.Finalise your Tyro Health set-up
After you receive confirmation, contact our Tyro Health Online Customer Support team via the pink chat bubble so we can complete the final set-up of your account.
Step 5: Verify your Business Details

Step 6: Add Billing Details
THO has paid functionality, including Support at Home claiming, and Tyro Health Online payments. For detailed pricing information, please visit Tyro Health Online pricing.
To add your payment details:
Navigate to the settings page using the sidebar.
Select the Billing tab, then scroll down to Payment details.
Click Add card, enter the details to be used for your next payment, and Save.
Step 7: Setup THO Payments to accept participant contributions
You can use THO Payments to process debit or credit card payments for participant co-contributions. Using THO Payments is optional, but the following steps are required to complete your set-up of Support at Home:
Navigate to the Settings page using the sidebar.
Select the Settlements tab.
Enter the bank account details you would like participant contribution payments settled to.
