How to complete your verification of identity to enable additional features

Many Tyro Health Online features require you to verify the identity of individuals associated with your business before you can submit claims and payments.

If your business is a trust we require your trust deed to be provided and will need to verify your identity by phone. If you have any questions, please chat with us via the pink chat bubble.

Before you start

Time to complete: ~5 minutes

What you'll need:

  • At least 2 of the following documents:

    • Passport

    • Drivers Licence

    • Medicare Card

Step-by-step guide

Step 1: Commence Business Verification

Setup processes will prompt you if verification is required to enable a feature. You can also proactively verify by:

  1. Log in to Tyro Health Online.

  2. From the sidebar, select ‘Business Settings'

  3. Select to complete verification.

Step 2: Verify business details

Confirm your ABN is correct and 'Edit' if required.

Step 3: Provide verification consent

  1. Click 'Verify Identity'.

  2. Review verification consent and agree to continue.

Step 4: Confirm personal details

  1. Add your middle name if you have one.

  2. Add your date of birth

Step 5: Upload identity documents

  1. Add your drivers licence details (or skip if you don't have one).

  2. Add your Medicare card details (or skip if you don't have one).

  3. Add your passport details (required if either of the above were skipped)

Note: You must provide 2 of the above

Step 6: Submit verification

Click 'Submit'

What Happens Next?

  • Most verifications are completed instantly.

  • If your verification can not be completed through our automated process, you will be provided with a code on screen with details to call our support team for an over the phone verification.
