What size are Tyro paper rolls?

There are 2 types of paper you can order:

  • Large rolls - used for Tyro CounterTop EFTPOS machines

  • Small rolls - used for Tyro Mobile and Tyro Pro EFTPOS machines

The paper roll dimensions are:

  • Large rolls - 57mm x 50mm x 12mm, which is 30 metres in length

  • Small rolls - 57mm x 30mm x 12mm, which is 10 metres in length

The dimensions of the boxes are:

  • Large rolls - 28.5cm x 12cm x 12cm. The weight is 2kg. There are 20 rolls in one box

  • Small rolls - 24cm x 12.5cm x 9.5cm. The weight is 1.5kg. There are 48 rolls in one box

How to order paper rolls

There are 4 ways to order paper rolls:

  • Tyro Merchant Portal - instructions below

  • Tyro App - instructions below

  • Phone - Call our team on 1300 01 8976

  • Accessories Store - full paper roll fees applied if ordered this way and are payable by credit card upon checkout. Refunds will not be provided if ordered via the accessories store.

Ordering via the Tyro Merchant Portal

Step 1: Log into the Tyro Merchant Portal

  1. Navigate to merchant.tyro.com

  2. Login using your Tyro portal email address and password.

Step 2: Select the MID

  1. On the portal home page, select the MID you want to order the paper rolls on.

Step 3: Navigate to the order screen

  1. On the left hand menu, select 'Self-service'.

  2. Select 'Order EFTPOS machine paper'.

Step 4: Select your paper rolls

  1. Identify which paper rolls you need based off your machine and click 'Add to cart'.

Note: The standard Tyro price for paper rolls will show on this page, however as a healthcare service provider, we will apply a discount on your invoice.

Step 5: Confirm quantity

  1. Use the '+' and '-' symbols to adjust the quantity of your order, remembering that our fair use policy applies.

Note: The quantity is per box, not per roll:

  • Large rolls - 1 box = 20 rolls

  • Small rolls - 1 box = 48 rolls

Step 6: Check out

  1. Select the delivery address (or specify a different address).

  2. Review order details.

  3. Click 'Confirm Order'.

  4. You will receive a confirmation email once your order has been shipped

Ordering via the Tyro App

Step 1: Log into the Tyro App

  1. Open the Tyro App.

  2. Login using your Tyro portal email address and password.

Note: This is not the tyro Banking App.

Step 2: Navigate to the order screen

  1. Select 'Other' in the bottom right corner

  2. Select 'Order EFTPOS machine paper'.

Step 3: Select the MID

  1. Select the Business you want to order the paper rolls on.

  2. Select the MID you want to order the paper rolls on if you have multiple MIDs linked to your ABN.

Step 4: Select your paper rolls

  1. Identify which paper rolls you need based off your machine and click on the correct item (this section scrolls).

Note: The standard Tyro price for paper rolls will show on this page, however as a healthcare service provider, we will apply a 100% discount on your invoice.

Step 5: Confirm quantity

  1. Use the scroll bar at the bottom of the screen to adjust the quantity of your order, remembering that our fair use policy applies.

Note: The quantity is per box, not per roll:

  • Large rolls - 1 box = 20 rolls

  • Small rolls - 1 box = 48 rolls

Step 6: Confirm shipping address

  1. Select the delivery address (or specify a different address).

Step 6: Check out

  1. Review order details.

  2. Click 'Order'.

  3. You will receive a confirmation email once your order has been shipped
