Multi-merchant is a key feature of our EFTPOS solution, enabling practices to add multiple providers to a single EFTPOS machine. Payments are processed against each provider, and then settled directly to their nominated bank account, allowing you to easily see who billed what and where it landed.
This guide is for existing Tyro EFTPOS customers. If you are new to Tyro, please reach out to our sales team on 1300 01 8976 or healthsales@tyro.com to create your account.
Before you start

What you'll need:
Your practice merchant ID (MID)
What you would like your merchant group to be called (example: Your Town Medical Center)
A nominated group super user
The ABN(s) for the additional MIDs to be created
If you want to split the cost of terminal rental fees or not
Email address(es) for where you would like the application forms sent

Setting up a merchant group is as easy as sending an email to our customer onboarding team: healthonboarding@tyro.com
Please note this must be sent from an authorised email address (existing EFTPOS Administrator, Signatory or Director).

Please allow up to 10 business days for new MIDs to be created.
