Tyro Health Online Payments allows your to process debit and credit card payments digitally without a physical EFTPOS machine. Digital card payments can processed as part of an integration claim submission as well as seperately.

What is an Assisted Card Payment (MOTO)?

There are various methods to process a digital payment, including an Assisted Card Payment (ACP), otherwise known as a MOTO Payment. This is the 'enter details' option where you can directly enter card details into Tyro Health Online to process a debit or credit card payment - on behalf of the cardholder and with their authorisation.

โ€‹Note, ACP is only available to businesses with Tyro Health Online Payments and there may be lower transaction limits compared to other payment methods, such as payment links.

Steps to process an Assisted Card Payment (MOTO)

To process a card payment using your Tyro terminal, it follows the same steps as the Tyro Health Online Payments workflow. However, you must have authority from the cardholder to charge this payment card.

Once you enter card details, you have the option to save the details for next time - these will be saved under a patient record. If you select a patient with already saved card details, the tokenised card details will be used - you can edit them from the 'patient' page, shown on the sidebar, including requesting new/updated card details.

If you require further assistance, you can contact the Tyro Health Online support team by clicking the chat bubble located on the bottom right of your browser or by emailing support@tyrohealth.com.
