icare has partnered with Tyro Health Online to introduce a new digital payment solution that makes the invoicing process simpler and faster. Here's what you need to know before you get started.

Enabled professions

Digital invoicing for icare is available to all medical, allied healthcare and all other types of practitioners providing services to clients with claims managed by icare.

Tyro Health Online also supports icare claims for providers living outside NSW - click here for more information.

Enabled claim types

Providers are able to submit invoices for workers’ compensation claims-related medical and rehabilitation expenses to icare.

icare supports digital invoicing for any icare claim that is 7 characters, and that is great than 2000000. icare does not support other claim numbers being submitted digitally.

Payment for approved invoices

Payment for icare services is facilitated by Tyro Health Online, with funds deposited into your nominated bank account the following business day after the invoice is approved by icare.

PMS integration

As with all Tyro Health Online functionality, icare will be available to be accessed directly on Tyro Health Online, at tyrohealth.com. Tyro Health Online has also integrated with the following PMS partners to have this functionality available in their software - we are working with more PMS partners to make this functionality more widely available soon:

  • PracSuite,

  • Nookal, and

  • Halaxy

icare claiming cost

There is no fee to service providers to raise digital invoices to icare.

How to enable icare claiming
