You may notice that the functionality to process refunds may not be enabled by default on your Tyro EFTPOS machine, if it isn't you can process them after it has been enabled.
To enable this feature follow these steps:
Press the Menu button on the Tyro EFTPOS Machine, located below the 7 button.
Select Configuration
Enter your 4-digit Admin Password
Select Refunds
Select Enable
You will be prompted to create a Refund Password. This is a 4-digit password that can't be 4 consecutive numbers (e.g. 1234) or 4 of the same number.
Once you have enabled refunds and set the password you will be able to refund money onto customers' cards. To process a refund, steps can be found in this article: How do I process a refund on the Tyro EFTPOS machine?
