ECLIPSE claim denied

"The Health Fund identified does not currently accept transmissions through this channel"

The claim may have been declined for a couple of reasons:

  1. With No Gap and Known Gap arrangements, depending on the fund, certain claim processing classes must be used. Submitting using the incorrect processing class may result in a declined eligibility check of claim. For example, "scheme" was selected instead of "agreement" - find out more.

  2. Fund doesn't support ECLIPSE or only supports some functionality. At present, 36 PHIs support some form of ECLIPSE functionality. Not all ECLIPSE functions are supported by all funds - check out the list. For example, a fund may support in-patient Medical claims but not Overseas.
