About non-claimable items

Non-claimable items include things such as fit-balls, water bottles, thera-bands and anything else that is not covered by private health insurance. You can add these to a patient's private health insurance claim to make payment a simple, one step process.

How to submit

Raise a digital claim or EFTPOS machine claim as usual and add the item under 'Non-claimable item' in the drop down items/services menu. Fill in the details of this item and add it as you would add a service. The patient will be charged the full amount for that item.

If you require further assistance, you can contact the Tyro Health support team by clicking the chat bubble located on the bottom right of your browser or by emailing support@tyrohealth.com.
