Tyro Health Online Payments enables a quick and easy way for you to start taking credit/debit card payments in Tyro Health Online.
Steps to set up
Navigate to the "Get Paid" page and select "Get Started" on the "Tyro Health Online Payments" tile, then complete the following steps:
Confirm your business and location details.
Enter payment card details - your card will be billed at the end of each month based on the number of transactions you submit.
Add the settlement bank details you would like payments settled into.
Note, if you first connect a Tyro terminal, the 'card payment' tile will be shown but Tyro Health Online Payments won't be enabled until you select 'settings' and complete any of the remaining steps listed above.
Processing payments for providers
Tyro Health Online Payments is enabled at the business level, so any locations and staff members in Tyro Health Online are automatically set up for card payments. However, before processing an out of pocket or gap expense for a provider (i.e., the payment is for them specifically), the provider has to be onboarded as a staff member and for the specific funder/scheme claiming option.
