From time to time, you will encounter patient's that only have one name. Therefore, they won't have a given name and surname that appears on their Medicare card. Don't worry - we can help you with submitting claims for these patient's too!

Here's how you submit a Medicare claim for patient's with one name:

  1. Under the "Patient details" section, enter in the text "Onlyname" as the patient first name and then enter the name that appears on their Medicare card as the patient last name, like below

  2. Follow the prompts to continue submitting the claim as per usual

If you have any issues submitting a Medicare claim, please contact support via the chat bubble in your Tyro Health Online portal or at support@tyrohealth.com.
