QBE Insurance integration with Tyro Health

This solution will enable healthcare providers to raise invoices directly with QBE and have these assessed. Approved payments are settled into the provider’s bank account within 24 hours. This advanced processing functionality increases transparency for providers and reduces their administration, enabling them to focus on treating their patients.

To access QBE digital invoicing, you must first sign up for Tyro Health Online, then contact our support team to request activation. Click the chat bubble in the bottom right corner and select 'Ask a question'.

Get started - QBE registration steps

Follow the steps below to set up your business to enable instant digital invoicing and payment with QBE for accepted Compulsory Third Party (CTP) insurance claims.

1. Verify identity of business owners

To enable QBE digital invoicing, the identity of the controlling directors must be verified. This process is known as a 'Know Your Customer' (KYC) check - find out more about the verification process.

2. Confirm your business and location details

This includes the ABN and address of your business, and the address of each location where invoices will be submitted for services

You can now claim as a business or location when an individual provider number is not applicable - find out more.

3. Confirm service provider details

This section is for adding the details of any providers who will be performing services that require an invoice to be submitted to QBE. The Medicare provider number(s) of each service provider is required to enable them for QBE digital invoicing. You can add as many providers as you need by clicking the 'Add another provider' button.

4. Add bank details for settlement

Approved digital invoices for QBE claims are settled by Tyro Heath. Funds can be paid into either a single nominated bank account or separate bank accounts per location - find out more about managing settlement details.

5. Submission and status

You’ll see the status of your submission instantly. If it's approved, you can go ahead and start raising invoices straight away.
