How to enable WorkSafe Victoria digital invoicing in Tyro Health Online

WorkSafe Victoria has partnered with Tyro Health Online to introduce online invoicing, to make it easier for service providers to have invoices approved and receive payment.


Here's how to enable WorkSafe Victoria online invoicing for your practice. Before you begin, please make sure that you have a Tyro Health Online account. If you haven't yet set up your free Tyro Health Online account, here's how to get started.

WorkSafe Victoria initial registration steps

1. Verify your business owners

The first step in setting up WorkSafe Victoria online invoicing is an identity verification check. You can learn more about this process here.

2. Confirm your business and location details

Next, you'll be asked to confirm the business and location details that you will be creating WorkSafe Victoria invoices for.

3. Confirm your provider details

This section is for adding the details of any providers who will be performing services that require an invoice to be submitted to WorkSafe Victoria. You can add as many providers as you need by clicking the 'Add another provider' button.

4. Settlement bank details

Finally, enter the bank account details that WorkSafe Victoria funds should be settled to. There are a number of options here so if you'd like more details, please click here.

5. Finalise

Click 'Confirm and Continue' to be taken to a summary page, where you can review all your details and make any changes if necessary. When you're ready, click 'Submit'.

In many cases, your application will be approved straight away, but it may take up to two business days for the application to be processed. You will receive an email when the provider numbers are approved, and you can start submitting invoices šŸŽ‰

How to add or remove providers from your WorkSafe Victoria list

  • If you would like to add or remove a provider from your WorkSafe Victoria list, first navigate to the 'Get Paid' tab on the left hand side and select the ā€œSettingsā€ option on the WorkSafe Victoria tile.

  • To add a provider, select ā€œAdd Providerā€ in the top right hand corner.


After selecting ā€œAdd Providerā€ you can use the drop-down menus to select the provider you wish to add, along with their professional details. Once you have done this, you can select to confirm and continue to save your edits.

  • To edit or remove a provider, select the 3-dots in the far-right column of the table. Here, you can select to either ā€˜Editā€™ or ā€˜Removeā€™.

Set up Tyro Health Online Payments

If you would like to process out-of-pocket expenses via Tyro Health Online for WorkSafe Victoria claims, you will also need to enable Tyro Health Online Payments.
