Introduction
Tyro Health Online can be set up to manage billings (i.e., “practice management”) for multiple providers, who may be separate entities, and provide services from the same location. For example:
Provider one: “Anthony”, has two provider numbers, one for the private rooms, one for the hospital, and their own ABN under “Anthony Pty Ltd”
Provider two: “Yvonne”, also has two provider numbers, and a unique ABN under “Yvonne Pty Ltd”, but works out of the same private rooms, and hospital.

Further, practice administration for these providers may be run as a separate, associated or unrelated, business entity - ABN under “Ace Practices Pty Ltd”. With this example, please review the following options for setting up Tyro Health Online and consider which is right for you.
Option A - One shared Tyro Health Online business, shared locations for providers
Sign up to Tyro Health Online under either the practice administration ABN or the provider ABN. Typically, this would be the practice administration entity - the ABN entered will need to complete verification.
Then, create two locations, one for the private rooms (for where the first two provider numbers are registered), and another for the hospital (for where the second two provider numbers are registered).

The invoice for any Tyro Health Online fees (charged for paid functionality) will be sent to Ace Practices Pty Ltd.

Any receipts sent from this business will note the parent business which in this option, would be of Ace Practices Pty Ltd.
This option is the simplest account and business sign up with a single business verification.
Option B - One shared Tyro Health Online business, unique locations with ABNs per provider
Sign up to Tyro Health under either the practice administration ABN (Ace Practices Pty Ltd) or the provider ABN - the ABN entered will need to complete verification.
Then, create one location per provider number, two for the private rooms (one for Anthony’s provider number and one for Yvonne’s provider number), and another for the hospital (one for Anthony’s provider number and one for Yvonne’s provider number) - each location would utilise the ABN of the associated provider.

Option C - One unique Tyro Health Online business per provider
This option involves signing up to Tyro Health under each provider’s unique ABN, then the locations can be set up as per ‘Option A’, i.e. one per provider number. Each business will require separate identify verification (for the ABN entered during sign up).

Patient claim and payment receipts are separate for each entity, showing unique ABN details from each business entity.
Batch file submissions and PMS integrations will need to be separate per business, e.g. for ECLIPSE claiming, two files are required (one for Anthony and one for Yvonne) and are submitted via the respective business. Option A or B would enable one batch upload that included claims for both providers.
Invoicing from Tyro Health Online for claim and payment fees are separate and sent to each business separately.
