Introduction
Setting up Tyro HealthPoint in Tyro Health Online will activate claiming at your location and enable your providers to process claims using both your Tyro terminal and Tyro Health Online (digital claiming), including 'terminal and online claiming' โ if you have a Tyro terminal, this enables providers at a location for both terminal and digital claiming (activated automatically).
Activating terminal claiming after setting up HealthPoint online
If you have already onboarded to HealthPoint online via Tyro Health Online and since ordered a Tyro terminal. To ensure this terminal is activated for HealthPoint, you'll need to contact us by clicking the below 'request terminal activation' button:
Email from the address used to sign up with Tyro; and
Include your ABN(s) and MID(s).
Enabling providers for terminal claiming
Any providers already enabled for HealthPoint at the terminal's location will automatically be available on the terminal once it has been activated. If you also need to enable additional providers, please check out our step-by-step guide on managing HealthPoint enabled providers.
How to submit claims
You can submit claims or rebate estimates (quotes) after your terminal is activated for HealthPoint. Using a Tyro EFTPOS terminal requires the patient to tap or swipe their health fund card and the requests can be sent either from:
An integrated practice management system, or
