If you signed up for Tyro HealthPoint for your Tyro EFTPOS terminal before May 2023 - please email healthonboarding@tyro.com to add any providers.
If you signed up with Tyro before October 2021, online claiming may not be available because of your PHI claims settlement arrangement – find out if this affects you.

Provider letter or HPOS screenshot, plus some modalities may need an association letter (more detail and examples here)
Bank account details for settlement
Business location information
Identity documents (only required if business has not yet been verified)
Step-by-step Setup
Step 1: Log in and navigate to The HealthPoint PHI Claiming Tile. 2. From the sidebar, select ‘Get paid.’ 3. Click Get Started on the HealthPoint tile.

Step 2: Confirm your business details
Check that the business details are correct for each location and update if needed. | |
Step 3: Verify your business owners
When verification is required:

Step 4: Confirm your location details
Click Add another location to add or edit to change details.
Important: Do not edit the address once providers are linked. This will cause claim errors. | |
| Step 5: Add provider bank details
Important: If you miss this step, you cannot add additional providers until the first provider has been approved |

Step 7: Tyro Health Online Payments and Claiming (optional)
If you wish to process online claims, you’ll need to set up THO Payments after completing the get started steps for PHI claims. Need help? Check out the guide:
What Happens Next?
Providers will appear as Pending until reviewed (check status here). Once approved, providers will show as Active and can start submitting claims.
Once approved, most health funds register providers instantly but some take 1–3 business days to register provider details. Error codes in the 9000 range, indicate the provider has not yet been registered by the specific health fund.

Claims failing after setup?
Check Provider details are approved.
Ensure your provider documents meet requirements.
EFTPOS Claiming - Check that your PMS integration is active.
Error codes in the 9000 range, indicate the provider has not yet been registered by the specific health fund. If it has been more than 10 business days since approval, please reach out to our support team and we will escalate to the health fund.
